Caring Cat Rescue is 100% volunteer-powered—we couldn’t do this work without people like you! From feeding colony cats to fostering kittens, every helping hand makes a life-saving difference.
Ways to Help
There are many roles to fit different skills, schedules, and comfort levels:
Fostering – open your home to cats who need a safe space until adoption
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) – help humanely trap community cats for spay/neuter and return
Colony Care – provide daily food, water, and monitoring for outdoor cat colonies
Transportation – safely move cats between colonies, foster homes, clinics, and barns
Social Media & Outreach – share CCR’s mission, create content, and help with events
Administrative Support – assist with case coordination, adoption records, and communications
Requirements
Volunteers must be 18 or older (or 16–17 with parental consent)
All volunteers agree to follow CCR’s code of conduct: respect, kindness, and teamwork
*Most roles are flexible and can fit into your schedule
