Intake Process
At Caring Cat Rescue, we do our best to respond quickly and keep every case organized. Because we are a small, volunteer-run group, having a clear system helps us make sure no cat is overlooked.
If you need to surrender a cat or ask for help with a cat situation, here’s what happens:
Reach out to CCR
Community members can reach CCR regarding cat-related situations in the following ways:
Email: contact@caringcatrescue.org
Phone: 509-866-6013
Website: www.caringcatrescue.org
Facebook Messenger: Caring Cat Rescue
Instagram: @CaringCatRescue
We review your request
If Caring Cat Rescue can help, we’ll create a case number for your situation.
We post the case on Facebook
Your case will then be shared on our Facebook page. This allows our network of volunteers to see what kind of help is needed and respond if they are able to assist.
We create a private case chat
Once a volunteer steps up, we will create a private Messenger thread just for your case. This thread is where all updates and communication will happen, so everything stays clear and in one place.
Even when CCR can’t physically take in a cat, we always try to provide resources, networking, or guidance to help.
